The impact of a poor diet on both physical and mental health cannot be overlooked. However, we all know that keeping a healthy diet may be tough due to low income of families. Vegetables a major source of vitamins can be grown in small spaces or containers. The process of growing it also keeps you active.
Exercises does not have to be in the gym, the little space in your bedroom is good enough. A little dance here and a stretch there – voila! You're on your way to becoming an aging superstar.
It is also advised we learn new skills, like baking, surfing the Internet for different knowledge, maintaining social connections, engaging in regular social activities and spending time with loved ones can have a positive impact on mental and emotional well-being
Additionally, staying mentally active by challenging the brain through activities like puzzles, reading or learning new hobbies can also help to maintain cognitive function as we age.
Overall, a holistic approach to healthy aging that involves physical, mental and social well-being is key.
